Equine & Canine Rescue & Rehabilitation in South Carolina
Many people dream of purchasing property and creating an idyllic, lifetime sanctuary for unwanted and abused animals. At the Bedminster Group Investment Advisors, we were fortunate to find an organization making this nirvana possible for dogs, horses and livestock at Hollow Creek Farm (HCF) Equine and Canine Rescue in Sharon, South Carolina. We’ve selected them as this month’s animal welfare donation.
Hollow Creek Farm is a 501©3 rehabilitation rescue and receives animals through veterinarians, shelters, animal control and other rescues. Many of the animals arrive with moderate or severe behavioral issues that prevented adoption, and others are handicapped and or in dire need of significant medical care. Either way, Hollow Creek is often a last chance for these animals.
With the help of generous veterinarians, volunteers and a network of foster homes throughout the Carolinas, Hollow Creek Farm nurses animals back to health and begins important socialization and training. HCF has rehabilitated and found Forever Homes for over 300 animals annually since 2002.
The adoption policy at Hollow Creek is stringent and adoptions are based on personality not just looks. Once the adoption application is submitted and the background check completed and approved, the family or individual is matched with the animal.
