Maranatha Farm Accepts All!

Each month The Bedminster Group selects an animal welfare organization to support and help promote their mission. For the month of December we’ve selected Maranatha Farm.

Maranatha Farm is dedicated to providing compassionate care of injured, abused and abandoned animals in the Lowcountry.  Housed on two small farms in Ridgeland, SC this organization provides rehabilitation and care for mistreated animals.

In an effort to enhance the health and longevity of seniors, Maranatha’s Senior for Seniors Program places adult pets in the homes of seniors at no cost. Monthly heartworm prevention and all future medical costs for the animal continue to be provided by Maranatha.  You can view photos of dogs in need of fostering and adoption on their website at  The facility is limited regarding its intake of cats and kittens, so foster families are always welcome.

Maranatha Farm makes donating an enjoyable and fulfilling experience, enabling you to choose how your dollars are spent.  For example, you can donate toward veterinary services, $25 for a heartworm test for dogs or $50 for feline neuter surgery or for vaccines, medications and supplies.

The Bedminster Group’s Allie Weber, a beautiful foxhound, was found abandoned and limping due to a fractured leg, in Guiton, SC. She was taken to Maranatha Farm by a Good Samaritan and had the great

fortune of being nursed back to health at Maranatha Farm and adopted in December 2010 by a very special family in Bluffton who sometimes find it hard keeping up with her pace!
